Shoe Tying Made Simple has instructions specifically written for left-hand dominant children. 10% of the population is left-hand dominant and our program respects and accommodates this. We want you to use this for left-hand dominant children when appropriate. The initial loop is made with the left hand. **Note, the laces need to be switched in the Shoe Tying Made Simple Teaching Board to accommodate the left-handed learner. Take out the laces in the board and flip the eyelets so that the lighter-colored laces ends up on the left after the initial knot has been formed.
